မင်းရှာနေတဲ့သူက ထွက်သွားပြီဟ။

2. What’s your date of birth?

မင်းရဲ့မွေးနေ့က ဘယ်နေ့လဲ။

3. Don't make my blood boil!

ငါ့ကို ဒေါသထွက်အောင် မလုပ်နဲ့နော်။

4. Blood is thicker than water.

မိသားစုဆက်ဆံရေးက တခြားတွေထက် ပိုအရေးကြီးပါတယ်။

5. It beats me.

ငါမသိဘူး၊ နားမလည်ဘူး။

‘What’s he saying?’

သူ ဘာပြောနေတာလဲ။

‘Beats me.’

ငါလည်းနားမလည်ဘူး။

6. Come and sit down – you must be dead beat.

လာပါ ထိုင်ပါဦး၊ မင်းတအားပင်ပန်းနေတာ။

7. It is still pitch black out.

အပြင်မှာ မှောင်မည်းနေတုန်းပဲ။

8. He isn't as black as he is painted.

လူတွေထင်သလောက်လည်း သူက မဆိုးပါဘူး။

9. The kettle’s boiling.

ရေနွေးအိုးဆူနေပြီ။

10. I felt a little dizzy and could see stars.

ခေါင်းနဲ့တိုက်မိတာ နည်းနည်းမူးသွားပြီး ကြယ်တွေလတွေကို မြင်သွားတာပဲ။
