ငါဆိုလိုတာက ခဏစောင့်လိုက်ရင် ပိုကောင်းမယ်လို့ ပြောတာပါ။

2. The shops close at six.

ဆိုင်တွေက (၆) နာရီဆို ပိတ်တာ။

3. Come a little closer, so you can see better.

ရှေ့နည်းနည်းတိုးပါ၊ ဒါမှ မင်း ကောင်းကောင်းမြင်ရမှာ။

4. My brother and I are very close.

ငါ့အစ်ကိုနဲ့ငါက သိပ်ချစ်ကြတာ။

5. Don’t worry, I’ll keep a close eye on the kids.

စိတ်မပူပါနဲ့ကွာ၊ ငါ ကလေးတွေကို သေသေချာချာ ကြည့်ထားပါ့မယ်။

6. It's a dead-end job.

အဲ့တာက တက်လမ်းမရှိတဲ့ အလုပ်ပါကွာ၊ (လစာကနည်း၊ တက်လမ်းကမရှိ)

7. It’s no joke bringing up a child on your own.

ကလေးတစ်ယောက်ကို မင်းတစ်ယောက်တည်း ပြုစုပျိုးထောင်ပေးတယ်ဆိုတာ ဟာသမဟုတ်ဘူး၊ လွယ်တဲ့အလုပ်မဟုတ်ဘူး။

8. She wept for joy.

သူ(မ) ဝမ်းသာလွန်းလို့ ငိုခဲ့တယ်။

9. You should never judge a person by their looks.

မင်း လူတစ်ယောက်ကို သူတို့ရဲ့ အပေါ်ယံ ပုံပန်းသဏ္ဍာန်ကိုကြည့်ပြီး ဘယ်တော့မှ ကောင်း၏၊ ဆိုး၏ မဆုံးဖြတ်သင့်ဘူး။

10. Don’t shout. I nearly jumped out of my skin.

မအော်ပါနဲ့ဟ၊ ငါဖြင့် ထိတ်သွားတာပဲ။
