ေစ်းဝယ္တဲ့အခါ ေပးလိုက္ရတဲ့ ပစၥည္းရဲ႕ တန္ဖိုးကို ေစ်းႀကီးတယ္၊ တန္တယ္၊ ေစ်းခ်ိဳတယ္...စသည္ျဖင့္ Speaking အတြက္ မွတ္ထားရန္ဝါက်မ်ား

ဒီတစ္ေခါက္ေတာ့ shopping လုပ္တဲ့ အခါ price ေစ်းႏႈန္းကို မိမိရဲ႕ထင္ျမင္ခ်က္ေျပာဆိုပံု အသံုး ဆယ္ခု တင္ျပေပးခ်င္ပါတယ္။ နံပါတ္ ၁ မွ ၅ အထိဟာ ေစ်းႀကီးတယ္လို႔ေျပာရာမွာ သံုးၿပီး ၆ မွ ၁၀ အထိကိုေတာ့ တန္တယ္၊ ေစ်းခ်ိဳတယ္လို႔ ေျပာရင္သံုးရမွာျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

အရင္ဆံုး collocation အေနနဲ႔ price ေစ်းႏႈန္းဆိုတဲ့ Noun နဲ႔ တြဲသံုးၾကရမယ့္ Adjective ေတြကိုမွတ္ၾကမယ္။

အရမ္းေပါတယ္။ စသည္ျဖင့္သံုးလို႔ရပါတယ္။

ကဲ... price အေၾကာင္းေျပာပံု ဆယ္မ်ိဳးကို စလိုက္ၾကစို႔။

ဒီဝါက်မွာ fortune ကို ကံၾကမၼာ လို႔ဘာသာမျပန္ရပါ။ fortune ရဲ႕ေနာက္အဓိပၸါယ္တစ္ခုက ေငြေၾကးအေျမာက္အျမားပါ။
It cost a fortune.= အရမ္းေစ်းႀကီးသည္၊ ပိုက္ဆံအမ်ားႀကီးကုန္က်သည္။

ဒီစိန္လက္စြပ္ႀကီး ေတာ္ေတာ္ေပးရမွာဟ။

ကေလးေတြကို ႏိုင္ငံျခားေက်ာင္းမွာထားတာ အကုန္အက်အရမ္းမ်ားတယ္။

ေစ်းမတရားႀကီးလြန္းတယ္လို႔ေျပာရင္သံုးတဲ့ အီဒီယံပါ။ လက္တစ္ဖက္ နဲ႔ ေျခတစ္ဖက္ေပးလိုက္ရတယ္တဲ့။ ပထမကမ႓ာစစ္မွာ တိုက္ခဲ့ရတဲ့စစ္သားေတြ တိုက္ပြဲမွာ ဒဏ္ရာျပင္းထန္စြာရတဲ့အခါ လက္ျပတ္ ေျချပတ္ျဖစ္ၾကရတာ It's a high price to pay to win the battle. လို႔ေျပာစမွတ္ျပဳရာမွ ဆင္းသက္လာတဲ့ အီဒီယံလို႔ ယူဆၾကပါတယ္။

4. I can't afford it.
ေစ်းႀကီးလြန္းလို႔ ငါမတတ္ႏိုင္ဘူး။
I can't afford it.= I don't have enough money to buy it.

✏️The condo units in Yangon are way overpriced. I can't afford it.
ရန္ကုန္က ကြန္ဒိုေစ်းေတြက မတရားတင္ထားတာ။ မဝယ္ႏိုင္ပါဘူး။

ေစ်းနည္းနည္းမ်ားတယ္ေနာ္။

တဝက္ေစ်းေလွ်ာ့ထားတယ္။
It's 50% off.= There's a 50% discount.
ဒီဝါက်မွာ ရာခိုင္ႏႈန္းကို 20% off, 40% off စသည္ျဖင့္ေျပာင္းသံုးႏိုင္ပါတယ္။

8. That's a good deal.
တန္လိုက္တာ။ ဒီဝါက်ကို ဘာပဲတန္တန္ ေစ်းႏႈန္းခ်ိဳတယ္၊ တန္တယ္ စသည္ျဖင့္ေျပာရင္သံုးပါ။ ေစ်းဝယ္တာျဖစ္ျဖစ္၊ ေဟာ္တယ္အခန္းခ၊ ေလယဥ္လက္မွတ္ေစ်းႏႈန္း စသည္ျဖင့္။

တန္လိုက္တာ။
It's a good bargain. လို႔လည္းသံုးပါတယ္။
