Some good expressions you need to know for English speaking and writing

ဒီတစ်ခါတော့ Speaking ရော Writing မှာပါ အသုံးချလို့ရတဲ့ expressions လေး ၅ ခုကို တင်ပြပေးချင်ပါတယ်။ သို့သော် ဒီ Lesson ကို ဆက်ဖတ်ဖို့ လို မလို ဆုံးဖြတ်နိုင်အောင် အောက်ပါ အသုံး ၅ ခုကို အင်္ဂလိပ်လို သိပါသလား မိမိကိုယ်ကိုမေးကြည့်ပါ။ အသေအချာမသိဘူးဆိုရင်တော့ ဆက်ဖတ် ဆက်မှတ်ပေါ့နော်။

၁။ ဘယ်သူမှခိုင်းလို့မဟုတ် ကိုယ့်ဘာသာကိုယ်လုပ်တာ။
၂။ ခွင့်မတောင်းဘဲ လုပ်ထားလိုက်မိတယ်။
၃။ ဥပဒေကိုမျက်ကွယ်ပြု၍ လက်လွတ်စပယ်စီရင်သည်၊ ထင်ရာစိုင်းသည်။
၄။ လောလောဆယ် အကျိုးသက်ရောက်မှုကိုမကြည့်ဘဲ ရေရှည်ကိုကြိုတွက်ကြည့်သည်။
၅။ နာတာလည်းရှိမယ်၊ သာတာလည်းရှိမယ်။ အဆိုးရော အကောင်းပါတွဲယူရတယ်။

ကဲ... စဉ်းစားလို့ရကြသလား။ မသိတသိလေးဖြစ်နေတယ်ဆိုရင်တော့ ဆက်ဖတ်ပါ မိတ်ဆွေ။

၁။ ဘယ်သူမှခိုင်းလို့မဟုတ် ကိုယ့်ဘာသာကိုယ်လုပ်တာ။
ဒါကို on your own initiative, on my own initiative, on his/her own initiative စသည်ဖြင့် သုံးရတယ်။

📍I think students need to do more on their own initiative without the teacher's prompting.
ဆရာကြိမ်တို့ခိုင်းစရာမလိုဘဲ ကျောင်းသားတွေဟာ မိမိအသိစိတ်ဓာတ်နဲ့ ပိုလုပ်ဖို့လိုတယ်လို့ ထင်တယ်။

သူဌေးက ဘာမှပြောစရာမလိုဘူး၊ ဘိုဘိုဟာ သူ့အသိစိတ်နဲ့ ဘာလုပ်ရမယ်ဆိုတာကိုသိတယ်။

၂။ ခွင့်မတောင်းဘဲ လုပ်ထားလိုက်မိတယ်။
မင်းကို ကြိုတင်ခွင့်မတောင်းတော့ဘူး၊ လုပ်လို့ရမယ်ထင်လို့ လုပ်သင့်တာလေး လုပ်ထားလိုက်တယ်။ အသိပေးရင်၊ တောင်းပန်ရင် သုံးပါတယ်။ formal ပုံစံ။
ဒါကို take the liberty of doing something လို့သုံးပါတယ်။ liberty ဟာ freedom ပေါ့။

📍I took the liberty of asking an old friend to join us on this trip. I think it's OK with you.
မင်းကိုကြိုတင်ခွင့်မတောင်းဘဲ ငါ့သူငယ်ချင်းဟောင်းတစ်ယောက်ကို ဒီခရီးမှာလိုက်ခဲ့ဖို့ ခေါ်ထားမိတယ်။ မင်းအဆင်ပြေမှာပါနော်။

📍May I take the liberty of ordering some wine?
ဝိုင်သောက်ဖို့ မှာလို့ရမလားဟင်။ (ဒါကတော့ သူ့ရှေ့မှာတင် သူ့ကိုခွင့်တောင်းတဲ့ စကားပြော polite form ပါ။)

၃။ ဥပဒေကိုမျက်ကွယ်ပြု၍ လက်လွတ်စပယ်စီရင်သည်၊ ထင်ရာစိုင်းသည်။
Take the law into one's own hands တဲ့။ ဥပဒေရှိပေမဲ့ ဘယ်သူမှဒါကို ထိထိရောက်ရောက် ချက်ခြင်းအရေးယူ လုပ်ဆောင်ပေးမှာမဟုတ်ဘူးလို့ ယူဆပြီး မင်းမဲ့စရိုက် ကြမ်းကြမ်းတမ်းတမ်းတွေ ထလုပ်တာမျိုး။

📍Citizens should never take the law into their own hands.
ပြည်သူများသည် မည်သည့်အခါမျှ ဥပဒေကိုမျက်ကွယ်ပြု၍ ထင်ရာမစိုင်းရ။

Take the long view တဲ့။ ရှင်းရှင်းလေးပဲနော်။

📍If you take the long view, buying a new car will give you more peace of mind.
ရေရှည်ကိုကြည့်မယ်ဆိုရင် ကားအသစ်ဝယ်တာ ပိုစိတ်ချမ်းသာလိမ့်မယ်။

📍If we take the long view, giving scholarships to our staff is a good investment.
ရေရှည်ကိုစဉ်းစားရင် ဝန်ထမ်းတွေကို ပညာသင်ဆုပေးတာဟာ ကောင်းတဲ့ ရင်းနှီးမြှုပ်နှံမှုပါ။

၅။ နာတာလည်းရှိမယ်၊ သာတာလည်းရှိမယ်။ အဆိုးရော အကောင်းပါတွဲယူရတယ်။
Take the rough with the smooth တဲ့။ rough ဟာ ကြမ်းတမ်းသော၊ smooth ဟာ ချောမွေ့သော၊ တော်တော်လှတဲ့ အသုံးလေးပါ။ Take the bad with the good ဆိုတဲ့ usage နဲ့ အတူတူပေါ့။

📍You have to take the rough with the smooth in any relationship.
လူမှုပေါင်းသင်းဆက်ဆံရေးမှာ သာတာ နာတာ တွဲယူရပါတယ်။ (အမြဲ အသာရချင်လို့တော့ မဖြစ်ဘူးပေါ့)
