လူနာတင်ယာဉ်တစ်စီးလို အသုံးဝင်ချင်တယ်
ရော့ခ်အင်ရိုးလ်တစ်ခေတ်လုံးကို နားထောင်ခဲ့တယ်
ပွင့်လင်းတဲ့ လူ့ဘောင်ကို မျှော်လင့်မိတယ်
ကဗျာနဲ့ ဘဝကို ချည်နှောင်ထားခဲ့တယ်
သူငယ်ချင်းရယ် ဒီဇာတ်လမ်းမှာ
လူဆိုးတွေ တစ်ယောက်မှ မသေသေးဘူးလား
လူကောင်းတွေမှာ ဒုက္ခများလှပါပြီကွယ်
အသက်တစ်ချောင်းလုံး ဆုံးရှုံးမယ်ဆိုရင်
နာမည်တစ်လုံးတော့ အဖတ်တင်ချင်တယ်
ချောက်ကမ်းပါးစွန်းကလူကို
တွန်းအားတွေမပေးကြပါနဲ့။

My slippers are my fortress.

Because of ill health,
A meager income and
A bad weather, amid such hardships,
I have to be careful with my slipper straps.
The saddle is shaky,
So is the horse;
I might fall off, I know.
Suffering is truth.
Such are my follies;
Will this world view them favorably?
I hate the wiles of the sea.
I pity the fish caught in the net.
Is there such a thing as a prey looking for a trap?
Happiness is never conceived in a cage.
I've wasted away life like a gas-guzzler sport car.
I want to be useful like an ambulance now.
I've listened to the golden era of rock 'n' roll.
I look forward to a transparent society.
I've tied poetry to my life.
My friend, in this story,
has any villain died yet?
Good folks have faced enough trouble.
If I were to lose my life,
I'd like to leave a good name behind.
I'm already standing on the edge of a cliff -
Don't you push me from behind.
