1. Don’t you dare talk to me like that!

ငါ့ကို အဲ့လိုမျိုး ပြောရဲပြောကြည့်။

2. How dare you accuse me of lying!

မင်းငါ့ကိုလိမ်ညာရက်တယ်နော်၊ မင်းကငါ့ကိုလိမ်ရဲတာပေါ့။ 

3. I dare say he'll feel bored with reading that book.

သူ အဲ့စာအုပ်ကိုဖတ်ရတာ ပျင်းမှာလို့ ငါထင်တယ်။

4. ‘Not if I can help it.’

ငါ လုပ်မှာမဟုတ်ဘူး။

‘Are you going to watch the football match tonight?’ 

ဒီည ဘောလုံးပွဲကြည့်မှာလား။

‘Not if I can help it.’

မကြည့်ဘူးဟေ့။

5. All is not lost!

အောင်မြင်နိုင်ချေရှိပါသေးတယ်။

6. He danced to her tune.

သူက သူ(မ)ကြိုးဆွဲရာကနေတာ။

7. I’ve got a day off tomorrow.

မနက်ဖြန် ငါအလုပ်သွားစရာမလိုဘူး။

8. That’ll be the day.

ဖြစ်လာမယ်မထင်ပါဘူးကွာ။

‘Htet Zaw Htoo says he’s going to start going to the gym.’ 

ထက်ဇော်ထူးက သူ လေ့ကျင့်ခန်းစလုပ်ဖို့ အားကစားရုံသွားတော့မှာတဲ့။

‘That’ll be the day!’

ငါတော့မထင်ရေးချမထင်။

9. Hurry up! I haven’t got all day!

မြန်မြန်လုပ််ဟေ့၊ ငါအချိန်မရဘူးနော်။

10. Drop dead! 

ထွက်သွားစမ်းကွာ၊ ငါတစ်ယောက်တည်းနေချင်လို့။
