At the end vs in the end

At the end (of something) = at the time when something ends.

At the end (of something) က ‘တစ်ခုခုပြီးဆုံးသွားတဲ့အချိန်မှာ’ လို့ အဓိပ္ပါယ်ရပါတယ်။

at the end of the month လကုန်ရက်မှာ

at the end of the film ဇာတ်ကားပြီးတဲ့အချိန်မှာ

at the end of January ဇန်နဝါရီလကုန်မှာ

at the end of the course သင်တန်းပြီးတဲ့အချိန်မှာ

at the end of the game ပြိုင်ပွဲပြီးတဲ့အချိန်မှာ

at the end of the concert ကပွဲပြီးတဲ့အချိန်မှာ

I’m going away at the end of the month.

လကုန်ရက်မှာ ငါ ခရီးသွားမယ်။

At the end of the concert, there was great applause.

ကပွဲပြီးတဲ့အချိန်မှာ အားပေးတဲ့အသံတွေ အကြီးအကျယ် ထွက်လာတယ်။

The players shook hands at the end of the game.

ပြိုင်ပွဲပြီးတဲ့အချိန်မှာ ကစားသမားတွေ လက်ဆွဲနှုတ်ဆက်ခဲ့ကြတယ်။

‘တစ်ခုခုပြီးတဲ့အချိန်မှာ’ ဆိုတဲ့အဓိပ္ပါယ်နဲ့သုံးရင် at the end (of something) နဲ့ပဲသုံးရတယ်၊ in the end (of something) နဲ့ မသုံးရဘူး။

‘in the end’ က ‘finally’ လို့ အဓိပ္ပါယ်ရတယ်။

We had a lot of problems with our car. We sold it in the end.

ငါတို့ကားမှာ ပြဿနာအမြောက်အမြားကြုံခဲ့ရတယ်၊ နောက်ဆုံးတော့ ငါတို့ အဲ့ကားကို ရောင်းလိုက်တယ်။

He got more and more angry. In the end, he just walked out of the room.

သူ ပိုပိုပြီး စိတ်တိုလာတယ်၊ နောက်ဆုံးတော့ အခန်းအပြင်ကို ထွက်သွားတယ်။

Are you going away at the beginning of August or at the end?

မင်း ခရီးထွက်မှာက ဩဂုတ်လ အစလား၊ ဒါမဟုတ် လကုန်လား။

It took me a long time to find a job. In the end I got a job in a hotel.

အလုပ်တစ်ခုရဖို့ အချိန်အများကြီး ကြာခဲ့တယ်၊ နောက်ဆုံးတော့ ဟိုတယ်တစ်ခုမှာ ငါ အလုပ် ရခဲ့တယ်။

We waited ages for a taxi. We gave up in the end and walked home.

တက္ကစီကို ငါတို့ အကြာကြီး စောင့်ခဲ့တာ၊ နောက်ဆုံးတော့ လက်လျှော့လိုက်ပြီး အိမ်ကို လမ်းလျှောက်ပြန်လာကြတယ်။

At the end (of something) ရဲ့ ဆန့်ကျင်ဘက်က at the beginning (of something) ဖြစ်ပြီး၊ in the end ရဲ့ ဆန့်ကျင်ဘက်က at first ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
