Aung Aung got into his car and drove away. You saw this.

အောင်အောင်က ကားထဲဝင်ပြီး မောင်းထွက်သွားတယ်။ မင်းက ဒါကို တွေ့လိုက်တယ်ဆိုရင်။

ဒီလိုရေးလို့ရတယ်။

 I saw Aung Aung get into his car and drive away.

အောင်အောင် ကားထဲဝင်ပြီး မောင်းထွက်သွားတာကို ငါ တွေ့လိုက်တယ်။

ဒါကို passive ပုံစံနဲ့ ရေးမယ်ဆို -

Aung Aung was seen to get in the car and drive away.

Yesterday you saw Su Su. She was waiting for a bus.

မနေ့က မင်း စုစုကို တွေ့တယ်၊ သူ(မ)က ဘတ်စ်ကားစောင့်နေတာ။

အဲ့ဒါကို ဒီလိုရေးလို့ရတယ်။

Yesterday I saw Su Su waiting for a bus.

မနေ့က စုစု ဘတ်စ်ကားစောင့်နေတာကို ကျွန်တော်တွေ့လိုက်တယ်။

See somebody do something နဲ့ see somebody doing something ကွာခြားချက်ကို ကြည့်ရအောင်ပါ။

see somebody do something က တစ်ယောက်ယောက်က တစ်ခုခုလုပ်တာကို ‘အစကနေအဆုံးအထိ’ ပြည့်ပြည့်စုံစုံ မြင်လိုက်ရတာကို ဖော်ပြပြောဆိုဖို့ သုံးပါတယ်။

He fell off the wall. I saw this.

I saw him fall off the wall.

သူ နံရံပေါ်က ပြုတ်ကျတာကို ငါတွေ့လိုက်တယ်။

The accident happened. Did you see it?

Did you see the accident happen?

မင်း မတော်တဆမှုဖြစ်တာကို တွေ့လိုက်လား။

See somebody doing something က တစ်ယောက်ယောက်က တစ်ခုခုကို ‘လုပ်နေတုန်း မပြီးသေးတဲ့အချိန်မှာ’ တွေ့လိုက်တာ၊ မြင်လိုက်တာကို ဖော်ပြပြောဆိုဖို့ သုံးပါတယ်။

He was walking along the street.

သူက လမ်းကြားလေးအတိုင်း လမ်းလျှောက်နေတာ။

I saw this when I drove past in my car.

အဲ့ဒါကို ကျွန်တော်က ကားနဲ့ကျော်မောင်းတော့ တွေ့လိုက်တာ။

(ကိုယ်တွေ့လိုက်တဲ့အချိန်မှာ သူက လမ်းလျှောက်နေတုန်း)

I saw him walking along the street.

သူ လမ်းကြားလေးအတိုင်း လမ်းလျှောက်နေတာကို ငါတွေ့လိုက်တယ်။

See လိုပဲ ဒီလိုပုံစံအတိုင်း အသုံးပြုဖော်ပြလို့ရတဲ့ verb တွေက hear, feel, notice, listen to, smell, find တို့ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

I didn’t hear you come in.

မင်း ဝင်လာတာကို ငါ မကြားလိုက်ဘူး။

Muyar suddenly felt somebody touch her on the shoulder.

တစ်ယောက်ယောက် သူ(မ)ရဲ့ပုခုံးကို ထိလိုက်တာကို မူယာ ရုတ်တရက် ခံစားလိုက်ရတယ်။

Did you notice anyone go out?

တစ်ယောက်ယောက် အပြင်ထွက်သွားတာကို သတိပြုမိလိုက်လား။

I could hear it raining.

မိုးရွာနေတာကို ငါ ကြားရတယ်။ (ရွာနေတုန်း ကြားနေရတာ)

The missing children were last seen playing near the river.

ပျောက်နေတဲ့ကလေးတွေကို မြစ်နားမှာ ကစားနေကြတာကို နောက်ဆုံးတွေ့ခဲ့တာ။

Listen to the birds singing.

ငှက်လေးတွေ အော်နေတာ နားထောင်ကြည့်။

Can you smell something burning?

တစ်ခုခုလောင်နေတာ အနံ့ရလား။

I found Thuzar in my room reading my letters.

ငါ့အခန်းထဲမှာ သူဇာငါ့စာတွေဖတ်နေတာကို တွေ့ခဲ့တယ်။
